Sea Dragon May Open

Our second long course meet of the season was a very successful event for our swimmers. Cape Aquatics swimmers posted forty-two best times including six new standards reached. Among best times posted was Alexa Ferro (15) with best times in the 100m Butterfly (1:16.96 -1.91s) 200m Breaststroke (3:19.52 -3.34s BB), 400m Free (5:12.22 – 7.92s) and 100m Breaststroke (1:32.19 -0.28). Connor McFall (12) reached best times in the 50m Free (41.44 – 1.35) and 100m Backstroke (148.13 -5.00). Sophie Pellegrino (16) posted personal best times in the 100m Backstroke (1:14.52 – 1.90 A) and 200m Backstroke ( 2:43.66 – 2.77). Skye Persechino (14) reached personal best times in the 100m Backstroke (1:18.02 – 7.22 BB), 200m Freestyle (2:14.47 – 0.12), 100m Breaststroke (1:28.44 – 10.42 BB) and 100m Freestyle (1:02.69 – 1.17 Senior cut). Jacob Ricke (13) had best times in 50m Freestyle (36.19 – 3.89) and 100m Backstroke (1:39.07 – 6.08). Hayden Tedhams (15) improved his time in the 50m Freestyle (27.52 – 0.24). Alissa Varlam (12) posted a best in the 20m Breaststroke (50.14 – 1.34) Lilyana Veltman (14) had a best time in the 100m Backstroke (1:29.00 – 13.31 B).
